Former Nappy Roots affiliate rap artist Duke sentenced to 70 years in prison for organized crime
Duke known to many as Balla D or James Franklin was recently sentenced to 70 years for heading a methamphetamine Organization. released after.a.murder of Tracey Stewart and Demarcus Elliott. He later was stopped with a pound of meth and $20k in cash. The charges were later suppressed and dropped. Recently he lost a suppression after an investigation of trafficking meth with the late Drug kingpin Jimmy Tucker. Witnesses Courtney Pruitt and Jody Mcandless who worked for the rapper snitched and.testified against him.
